1) Payments are due the first of the month. If you are paying by credit
card, TalWeb will usually make the charge between the first and fifth of each month, for
that month's service. If you are paying by check, you must be sure to mail your payment in
time to be received by the first of the month. TalWeb is not responsible for postal
delays.
2) If a payment is not received by the 5th of the month, a $5 or 33%
surcharge will be added to your amount due, whichever is higher. After the fifth, TalWeb
reserves the right to restrict your access to your account. If payment has not been
received by the end of the month, another $5 or 33% late fee will be added. If payment has
not been received by the 5th of the following month, TalWeb will close the account. If the
account is closed, a $25 reconnect fee will apply and payment will have to be by credit
card. TalWeb also reserves the right to close accounts if any payment is late.
3) If you make payment by check, please be sure to write your
username on the check to insure proper credit. Checks returned due to lack of
funds will incur a $25 fee (to cover our penalties at the bank) and require either a
credit card or money order to have service restored.
4) If you are making payment by credit card and you
change account information (closing an account, getting a replacement for a lost or stolen
card, card expires, etc), it is your responsibility to contact the TalWeb
office regarding your account. Failure to notify the office can result in late fees
being assessed or account closure. Do NOT email your new credit card information, it
is not totally secure.
5) For other questions, please see the TalWeb Policies
Page.
