You can best learn from doing. How did you get to this page? You clicked on
the NetTutor button on the TalWeb Favorites page most likely. That means you
"followed a link" to another website. Anytime you move your mouse around
on a webpage and you see the mouse pointer turn into a hand, this means there is a link to
another webpage if you click when the hand is present. Some links are done another
way, but this is a good way to start.
Another great way to learn, is to find a friend, family member, or co-worker who knows
about the Internet a bit and invire them over for dinner. Very few computer saavy
people will turn down free food and a chance to "surf the Net" to boot.
Sometimes the library or a training center will have seminars on how to surf the
internet. Some are free, some are not. Good luck surfing and now you can...
